Other Important Information...

Reading Please make sure your child is reading reading reading! We supply all of the books that your child needs. I cannot stress how important it is for your child to continue the habit of regular reading. This will help them academically in every other subject area. Students will be reading and completing a reading log every night for homework. Please initial your child’s reading log daily.

Buzz Words Every week, students are given two new buzz words. Periodically, they will be tested on the spellings of those words.

Scholastic Book Orders Please look for the monthly Scholastic packet in your child's folder. This is a great way to encourage your child to read books that they love. Please, only send checks made out to Scholastic Book Clubs. I cannot accept cash. If you would like to order books through scholastic book clubs on line, visit this site and put our class code J9QNN in so we can receive points and free books!
